Borrowed from the drawing set.

A few structural devices come straight from engineering paperwork: the sheet strip, the title block, section numbers and hairline rules. They organise information. They are never decoration.

13.1

The sheet strip.

One line of mono caps above a heavy rule. It names the company, the document, the page and the revision. It sits at the top of long documents, decks and this site.

13.2

The signature device. It closes CAD sheets, spec sheets, concept sheets and every page of this site. Cells are ruled at 1 pt; labels are mono caps; the wordmark sits in the last cell. Full CAD specification on CAD + engineering.

13.3

Numbering and rules.

Section numbers

Two digits and a point: 07.1, 07.2. Used only where the order matters: standards, catalogs, instructions.

07.1 · 07.2 · 07.3

Balloon callouts

A numbered circle with a leader line, as on our drawings. For pointing at parts in a render or photo, never as bullets.

Hairlines

1 px on screen, 0.5 pt in print, K100 for structure and K10 for separation. The heavy rule (2 px / 1 pt) opens a section.
